I found something on google about the Bishops of Faenza. In the 1530s, the Bishop of Faenza was Cardinal Rodolfo Pio. He was born on February 22, 1500 and he died on May 2, 1564. He was consecrated bishop around 1528 and made a cardinal on December 22, 1536. The article did not say whether or not he was an ambassador. I think that if he had been, there would have been some sort of mention of it, especially since it had all of his other titles besides his titles as Bishop of Faenza and as a cardinal.
