My question is - do any historians in non-fiction books argue that "Perkin Warbeck" was really Richard, duke of York?

That is a good question, I am frequently amazed at the way the Tudor version of events during the later part of the 'War of the Roses' is so blithely accepted by serious academics as solid fact. I feel that the whole issue of Yorkist 'pretenders' requires a more serious study.
