There is little about Robert Aske (leader of the Pilgrimage of Grace) on the internet and every source states something different about his death. He was either hung from Norfolk Castle in chains, hung in York or burned at the stake.
Can anybody tell me which it was? It would be much appreciated. Thanks!

According to David Starkey in his biography "Six Wives", Robert Aske was hung in chains in the City of York and left to die a slow death.
I have read other works which also state that this is the form of execution Henry VIII had Aske suffer.
Where was robert Aske eventually buried?
I have soooo many questions about him as all websites state something different. I just wish to know the truth
