Good question to which I have no definite answer. It is highly likely that the couple did not have their own London house. They did not really need one. Anne was a member of the queen's court and Thomas also held a court appointment. So it is possible they had rooms at court. They also could have used the London houses of any of their many relatives. Anne had many siblings, some with London houses. It would have been quite natural for them to share if the need arose. At the very least some of their children could have been in the houses of relatives in town if needed.
