I think it would generally depend on your job, class, etc. but my guess is that most people would wake at or shortly before sunrise. People in the monasteries and abbeys following the Liturgy of the Hours would have certain prayer times to follow too (I'm sure someone else can expand on this - it's not an area I know a whole lot about).
