Question from Kiran - Entertainment in Tudor times

My name is Kiran, i'm 9 yrs old (Ks2) and this question is for a history project. I've looked at books and other sites and am finding this hard to answer

"What do you think were the most important changes in entertainment in tudor times and how did they affect the lives of ordinary people?"

The Tudors LOVED spectacle. Progresses around the country, parades down the main streets of London, and water pageants on The Thames were all major sources of entertainment for the general population.

Hi, Kiran:

I would say the development of advent of real English Theater, especially Shakespeare, was the most important advance.
