Question from Terry - Mary "Rose" Tudor's burial site

Henry's sister Mary was buried at Bury St edmunds in 1533. At the dissolution was she re interred elsewhere and if so, where? He moved Henry Fitzroy, or at least someone did from Thetford to Framlingham.

She was re-interred at St Mary's Church, which is also in the town of Bury St Edmunds.

Is there a monument to her there?

That's another I'm going to have to add to my travel wish list!

St. Mary's Church where she was reburied is right on the edge of the former Abbey grounds.

If you go to see her current grave, be sure to check out the stained glass window dedicated to her that Queen Victoria paid for.

Also in Bury St. Edmunds, at the Moyses Hall Museum, they have a lock of her strawberry blonde hair.
