Hello! I am a graduate student working on my masters degree in history, I am hoping to start working on my thesis this fall and which I am hope will be on Kathrine Parr and her religious writings. Right now I am doing research just to see what sorts of information are out there and I was praying someone out there may by able to help me in finding books, articles, or even a website devoted Kathrine Parr. I have a very extensive library on Tudor England but I am always looking for more. If anyone can help me please or has any suggestions for me please email me. redelf@hotmail.com

If you can track it down, Susan James' "Kateryn Parr: The Making of a Queen" is probably going to be a very helpful resource. She also wrote the entry on Parr in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. You might want to check if your school has the book version or a subscription to the online version.
I was watching a series called The Six Wives of Henry viii made in 1971. One of them all about Catherine's marrige to Henry. I saw and it is a very good video about Catherine but if you buy it online it is a lot of money for one video in the series, still it is an hour and a half movie all about her.
"Katherine the Queen: The Remarkable Life of Katherine Parr"
is the title of the new biography by Dr. Linda Porter, coming out in the UK on March 19 and in the US some time in the next year. See lindaporter.net for ongoing detais.
