Dr. John Chamber was a physician to Henry VIII and Henry VII, according to Weir's "Henry VIII: The King and His Court." The only details the book gives about him was that he studied in Padua and that his portrait was painted by Holbein around 1542 ( I found it by googling "Dr. John Chamber"). He appears to have been with Henry VIII during the sweating sickness outbreak of 1528 and apparently Henry VIII spoke to Dr. Chamber about being supposedly unable to consummate his marriage to Anne of Cleves.
