I am looking for help finding a book or books that can give me a chronological order of English monarchs from the very begining ( not starting in 1066). I have several books put jumoing around is harder for me. I like the book to provide more information than just the highlights of each person. Prehaps also include a detailed family tree amnd more imnformation on the details of their reign. Thanks you.
This would best be answered by your local librarian. As most people who frequent this board do not normally work on information that far back, I believe a librarian would be the way to go.

I have "The Oxford Illustrated History of the British Monarchy" by Ralph Griffiths and John Cannon. Of all the books I have, it's the one I use most. (I bought a used copy online for about $5 a few years ago and it was WELL worth it!) Hope you find it helpful.
