Hello, can anyone please recommend a very good book on tudor history. I know they're many, so if you had to choose for someone who is starting to read history books, but a regular book reader..what should I start with?
p.s. I am 22 yrs. old.
Thanks

I enjoyed Richard Rex's book, I think it's called 'The Tudors' and was a relatively short introduction to all the Tudor monarchs. However, it's the only one I've read which deals with all the Tudor monarchs in one book, so there may be better out there. If you're interested in one of the monarchs in particular, I think Starkey is always a good, in-depth yet very easy to read guide to Henry VIII or Elizabeth, although his are often about an aspect of their reign.
