Question from Elizabeth - Relationship of Henry VIII and his daughter Mary
I was wondering what kind of relationship Henry VIII had with his daughter Mary after Jane Seymour brought her back to court. Any info on this would be appeciated.
I think Mary was always a little afraid of Henry, but he was fond of her (as a child, he had called her his 'pearl'). It's also possible that as his firstborn she had a special place in his heart. She was a friend of Catherine Parr, which would have helped her relationship with Henry.
