Rather than pay $50.00-100.00 for a poster, I saved the picture I wanted (in this case Anne Boleyn) on a disk and took it to Wal-Mart (or a local print store). They printed it out for me to the size I wanted. Since it is a pretty old picture, it is the public domain (not copyrighted. I printed off the info from wikipedia (if you click on the picture you want it gives you all the info.) This is an idea if you can't find it or it is way over priced.lebarwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17021351524643470862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16981893.post-8708942911539429062008-05-31T17:07:00.000-05:002008-05-31T17:07:00.000-05:00lebarwick...thanks for the web-site for the artwor...lebarwick...thanks for the web-site for the artwork. I took a look and found some other items I'd been on the hunt for.<BR/><BR/>About the Princess Elizabeth B/W print, however...it is a BAD simili. The face is nowhere near what is featured at Windsor Castle, which I have seen in person. It looks like an entirely different person. Too bad the whomever did the print couldn't have fashioned one that was more like the real portrait.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16981893.post-6448181100603977432008-05-31T07:48:00.000-05:002008-05-31T07:48:00.000-05:00I did a quick search and found a copy at www.art.c...I did a quick search and found a copy at www.art.com. They do custom posters also I believe. However, the only one I saw (and I did do just a quick search typing in "princess elizabeth i") was in black and white. if you look more, you might find a color one!lebarwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17021351524643470862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16981893.post-74041439648010682052008-05-30T20:27:00.000-05:002008-05-30T20:27:00.000-05:00I've always seen it as attributed to William Scrot...I've always seen it as attributed to William Scrots, so I'm not sure why the book would have it listed as Levina Teerlinc. That was about the time she came to England, but her style of painting is kind of different and I think she primarily did miniatures (at least that is what mostly survives of her work).Larahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16630629272030282584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16981893.post-5211591427532564492008-05-30T19:18:00.000-05:002008-05-30T19:18:00.000-05:00William Scrots? The original is part of the Royal Collection (at Windsor Castle) so I checked their various gift shops too, but no luck. The only thing I could suggest would be to enquire with the Royal Collection and see if they sell posters or have plans to. It's one of my favorites as well and I'd love to have a nice print to go along with some of the other Tudor posters I have!Larahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16630629272030282584noreply@blogger.com
