Question from Katie - Sources for research on Tudor women

Hi, I'm doing a dissertation on Tudor Women - could anyone recommend any useful archives, or general places/books/etc. for primary sources they've found useufl?

The scholarly literature on Tudor women is vast. Have you tried looking in the appropriate section of your university's library? There should be dozens of general secondary works, plus a significant number of published primary sources. You can look at the bibliographies of the secondary works to identify still more primary sources, including and especially those in archives.

You can find a lot of interesting biographies at Who's who of Tudor women page.
